Condo & HOA Smart was founded to provide important information for potential homebuyers in condominium and homeowners associations. I provide Due Diligence of Condos and HOAs and determine the association's financial health and any livability issues.
I have been a CPA for over 30 years and a NC Real Estate Broker for 10 years. After I founded a Community Association management company in 2002, I earned both the AMS (Association Management Specialist) and the CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) designations from the Community Association Institute (CAI-Industry Trade Group). During the last 30 years, I gained broad experience by working with over 400 associations, thousands of homeowners, individual tax clients, and small businesses. My experience includes performing Condo & HOA Association audits, reviews, compilations, preparing their tax returns, managing community associations, daily/monthly accounting, consulting for management companies, cash management and board member training.
