I was born and raised in San Diego.  My father started out as a pilot in the navy, then turned commercial when he went to work for Southwest.  He worked at Southwest for 27 years and is recently retired.  My mother was a stay-at-home mom (and a darn good one).  However, before I came along she worked for the San Diego Opera and also as a property manager.  I like to think I get my rational/disciplined side from my father and my creative/out-of-the-box side from my mother.

For most of my childhood we lived on the top of the hill in Del Cerro (I still miss the view).  I went to Hearst Elementary, Bell Junior High, and Patrick Henry High.  At Henry I played varsity tennis and graduated in 2000 as a Salutatorian.

From 2000 - 2003 I attended San Diego State University.  I was very involved with the campus Circle K Club (College Kiwanis) where I served as the Treasurer, Fundraising Chair, Membership Chair, and Lieutenant Governor.  I served as community service chair for the Residence Hall Association and Mortar Board Honor Society.  I was also a member of the Golden Key Honor Society and the San Diego State Bowling Team.  I graduated with Honors in 2003 with a BS in Business Administration - Management.

After graduation I had some fun and bartended for a year and a half.  Bartending is still a passion of mine, and I make a killer Mojito, Cucumber Collins, Sgroppino, and Oatmeal Cookie.

In the summer of 2005 I decided to get serious.  I took the DRE required classes and passed the California Real Estate Licensing Exam.  Not knowing where to go from there, I called Debbi Houshar, the agent who sold my parents' house.  As it turned out, her assistant had just quit and she was looking for someone to step in.  I spent the next year helping Debbi, learning the business, developing my client base, and adding loans to my repertoire.  Eventually we became partners, and five years later we're still going strong.

In 2009 I bought my first house in San Carlos, and I couldn't be happier with the move.  The house is awesome, my neighbors are fantastic, and the yard is a dream come true for my dog Cody.

I'm an avid runner and hiker, and I particularly enjoy visiting Cowles Mountain and Lake Murray.  I golf . . . poorly.  I love Bowling and playing softball, and I'm always looking for new leagues to join.  I'm also a rabid Padre, Charger, and Aztec (basketball and football) fan.

Currently I'm working on obtaining my CRS Designation (essentially a post-grad degree for REALTORS).  I already have the required sales volume and 32 units completed.  I hope to have the remaining 48 units under my belt by the end of the year.
