We would like to introduce ourselves! We areDave & Prue Shockley, a husband and wife Realtor team, based here in Charlottesville Virginia. We actually live in Wintergreen, a mountain resort community about 30 minutes from Charlottesville and LOVE IT!

As your Buyer Agents we represent you and you alone. We will take you through the home search to the final closing and will be with you every step of the way. Dave had been a computer program consultant in the state of Virginia for over 18 years. He obtained his Bachelors Degree atTemple University in Tennessee.As a Real Estate professional he has been awarded membership in the ..Charlottesville Area Association Professional Honor Society,the Frank John Kessler award,and the Circle of Excellence Award forOUTSTANDING SERVICE. ( EVERY YEAR). He has also won The ETHICS AWARD in 2005. Dave has earned his BROKER license and is a multi million producer every year. He currently is an Assistant Broker in the management of the Real Estate III- West office, which has over 70 agents.In keeping with the current climate Dave was amongst the 1st Realtors to obtain the E-PRO (Internet Professionally CertifiedRealtor) and RECS (Member of the Real Estate Cyberspace Society). We both have been certified as Relocation Specialists.I, (Prue), am a true Irish native, having moved to the US. almost 20 years ago. I obtained my Bachelor degree in Psychology at the University College London in London, England in 1973, and more recently my Masters Degree in School Psychology at the University of Hartford, in Connecticut in 1990. I worked as a Licensed School Psychologist for over 8 years before becoming a Licensed Realtor and work with Dave as a Realtor team. As a team we are totally committed to serving our clients with integrity, honesty and care, whilst finding you the home of your dreams!
With new construction and new developments as one of our topinterests we are both members of the recently formed REAL ESTATE III NEW HOMES DIVISION . This new division provides information to the public regarding builders and new construction in general, and then information to the builders as to what the public want in new homes etc. This makes the process of home building less stressful to both the builder and the public.We have also taken a nationally recognized course, and been certified, in New Construction, (CERTIFIED NEW HOMES PECIALIST or CNHS).
