As a Christian Realtor and a Buyer's Agent, I pride myself in following the golden rule, "doing unto others as I would have them do unto me."  Many years of experience in helping buyers has taught me that patience is a key virtue in succeeding in this business.  It doesn't really matter how long the process takes.  What matters most is that my clients are happy and satisfied at the end of the journey.

I am not bound by geographical areas or cities because I never know where I can find my client's dream home.  I am license in the state of California but I prefer to work in the proximity of Long Beach.  I have listed and sold homes in the cities of Long Beach, Lakewood, Norwalk, Downey, La Mirada, Whittier, Pico Rivera, Lynwood, Buena Park, Paramount and Fullerton.

Did I mention that I am fluent in Spanish?  However, I do not only help people whose native tongue is Spanish. I am originally from El Salvador but I have lived in Southern California for the last 30+years.  I appreciate and love the diversity of people I have been blessed to serve:  Hispanics, Indians, Vietnamese, Cambodians, Chinese, Koreans, and Caucasians.  My husband always asks, "Why aren't they using someone of their own ethnicity?"  My response is always the same - "because they like me!"  But I really know that each of my clients have come my way via divine appointment.

We have two beautiful daughters whom I call "my gifts from God".  Several years ago, after fighting and overcoming a life threatening illness, I learned an invaluable lesson about life priorities.  I realized that finding and keeping my life in balance is extremely vital and of utmost importance.  My priorities need to be, in this order, God, family and then business.

One of my most memorable clients-The Zhuang family called the office and asked me to show them a house they had seen listed.  The relative who was helping them told me to write an offer for more than what the sellers were asking.  This house was the perfect price and size for them, but I had already done comparables and I knew the house was overpriced.  I told the family,  "the price is too high for this house" and I began asking them if they knew the area and what their reasons were for wanting to move into this particular neighborhood.  They told me that they didn't know the area but wanted to live close to a friend in Cerritos and wanted to be near the school where their granddaughter was attending.

I knew the house and the area so I suggested we look at other homes.  I drove Mrs. Zhuang around a couple of times while her husband was working.  She didn't speak a word of English.  I picked her up from her apartment in Orange County and we drove to several different houses.  The only interaction we had was "hello" and "how are you?"  as we exchanged smiles with one another.  To make a long story short, the family bought a townhouse, in a gated community, for a price that fit their budget.  It was move-in ready, the perfect size and within walking distance to schools.  What a difference from the original, fixer upper house that they had first inquired about.  At the end of their journey, they were completely satisfied and very, very happy.  This success story is what real estate is all about.  It is not just about selling a house;  It is about helping families find a home.
