web A Fort Lauderdale Real Estate Blog |
I’m originally from Massachusetts. Shortly after graduation from Northeastern University in Boston, I moved to New York City. While living in Boston I worked for a mutual fund company. Upon arrival in New York City I began working for Royal Bank of Canada on Wall Street. I’ve always been fascinated with numbers and financial markets, that fascination continues to this day. My final job in New York City was with Countrywide Home Loans, which at the time was moving an enormous volume of mortgage backed securities. Ultimately I accepted a promotion and transferred to South Florida.
The understanding of markets, financials, mathematical calculations, and a love of Real Estate is what pushed me towards becoming a Realtor. I’ve been a part of, or overseen, in excess of $600 million in Real Estate and mortgage transactions. You always hear that “real estate is local”, it’s a phrase I believe to be very true. I know and understand the markets I serve. If you work with me you won’t find a generalist, what you’ll find is a very focused Realtor that knows everything about the specific areas of Fort Lauderdale that I serve. The neighborhoods I cover are Rio Vista, Victoria Park, Downtown Fort Lauderdale, Harbor Beach (including Harbor Inlet), Seven Isles, Nurmi Isle (including Hendricks and Venice Isles), Collee Hammock, Fort Lauderdale Beach, Las Olas Isles, Idlewyld (including Riviera Isles), and Lauderdale Harbors. Essentially an area that uses Andrews Avenue as a western boundary, and the Atlantic ocean as an eastern boundary. To the north I cover up to Sunrise Boulevard, and just below SE 17th Street to the south. I work with a number of investors and developers on multifamily buildings and projects as well as working with individuals on Residential purchases.
I live in Fort Lauderdale with my girlfriend and our two dogs that we rescued from the Caribbean. Fort Lauderdale is a wonderful place to live and I would encourage all those interested to fully explore it!
