I have been in Real Estate for the past 4 years. I moved to Re/Max Real Estate Professionals in April of 2009 and am very happy to have made the move. Re/Max has given me a lot more opportunities with my Real Estate career. My peers at Re/Max have also been very helpful. I look for many exciting things things to happen in the future.
I have been working with many people in Columbus. I enjoy helping people with their real estate needs. I do a lot of work with Short Sales, Rental Properties and Investors to name a few.
My husband and I also have several rental properties in the Columbus area. I belong to the Bartholomew County Landlord's Association. We meet the second Saturday of each month from 9amto 10am at Sadies Restaurant. Sadies is located at the corner of Beam Rd. and 25th Street in Columbus. We also meet for lunch every Monday at 11:30am at Sadies. We just have lunch and talk about what is going on with each of us with our rental units. A lot of great information from both the monthly meetings and the weekly lunches. If you are interested in getting information about joining the Landlord's Associatoin,or meeting for lunch, give me a call and I would be happy to help you out in anyway I can.
I am e-Pro Certified.
I am interested in all parts of Real Estate...
Relocation - I have personally been the Relocation Route (twice). First I moved from Michigan to Rocky Mount North Carolina in 1989. We lived there for 2 years and them moved to Columbus Indiana in 1991. My husband had gotten a job with Cummins Incorporated. Well we have been here in Columbus since 1991. Needless to say that I know how Relocation works first hand. I know what I liked and what I didn't like. I am taking that experience and putting it toward working with people Relocating to the Columbus area.
Foreclosures - I am able to work with homeowners facing foreclosure. I educate them on the various steps in the foreclosure process. I work with negotiating with the banks to get the best price four our buyers on foreclosed homes.
Short Sales - A lot has been said lately about Short Sales. Are they bad, or are they good. Are they for me or not. Contact me and we can find out if a short sale is the right alternative for you instead of foreclosure.
For Sale By Owners - I am happy to help anyone who is willing to sell their homes themselves. I can give you information regarding any aspect of the sale of your home. Answer questions, give opinion, whatever you need.
Expired Listings - There is nothing more frustrating than having your home on the market for 6 months (or more) and not selling it. I like to find out what went wrong, and work out a marketing plan to get your home sold.
Investors - So, since it is a buyers market, it's a great time to purchase real estate for your portfolio, or to get into the rental market. I have been taking care of our rentals and know a lot of the tricks of the trade. Rental property is no longer sign the lease and collect the money, it has become very complex with all the new rules and regulations. If you don't know about these they can cost you a lot of money.
