Get to Know Brian Byhower
Hi, it's a little difficult to write about myself. I'd much rather boast of my friends and colleagues. Oh well, here goes. I've lived in the South Bay all of my life. I don't understand why anyone would move away from paradise. I've been living in Hermosa Beach for the last 27 years. I lived on Hermosa Ave., 25th St., and 29th St. I learned how to surf at 2nd St. My wife and I open a very popular restaurant in 1986, El Gringo Mexican Restaurant. We operated it for 16 years. In 2001 we sold it, and it's still doing great. I love helping people buy homes, especially when they didn't think it was possible and somehow we made it a reality. It feels good to me. I like to help people, not just clients. I helped people by answering their real estate questions in a newspaper column I wrote. My column, "Ask the Realtor" was published in 4 local newspapers. It was in the Lawndale Tribune, Hawthorne Press Tribune, Inglewood News, and the El Segundo Herald. It was a lot of fun and I helped a lot of people. However, it was time consuming and it took away from my family time and my work, so reluctantly, I resigned. Now, I have more time to help people reach their dream of home ownership. Doing business, selling real estate, and living in Hermosa Beach for 27 years has made me the Hermosa Beach expert that I am.
