Selling your home may be one of the largest transactions you will make in your life. I suggest everyone who is thinking about selling their home interview 2 or more agents. Listen to their marketing plan of how they plan to market your home. If their main source of advertising is putting a sign in your front yard it may be a good idea to interview more agents. It only takes one person to buy your home but finding that person is why in today's selling environment it is so vitally important to use local, national and some times international advertising. We use 15 different modes of advertising to find the buyer who will pay the price, qualifies for the financing and has the deposit to put down. When we submit an offer to our seller's they know if they accept it will close. Selling your home using a professional Realtor versus someone with very little experience or one who is part time will usually result in your home selling for thousands more.

Things like staging the home, making repairs or minor improvements, or even simply painting the walls can be the difference between a home resting on the market and one that's sold fast.
