Born and raised in Chicago, Michael became a permanent Monterey Peninsula resident in 1970.  He initially worked as a painting and decorating contractor and also owned and operated a furniture stripping and restoration business.  In these years Michael became very familiar with every aspect of construction.  Michael is well acquainted with the local real estate market and its unique community offerings.  He prides himself on his ability to negotiate strongly on behalf of his clients, putting their needs first and foremost every time.
