I am a professional Home Stager. I have been personally trained by Barb Schwarz, the Creator of Home Staging.

WHAT DO THOSE LETTERS BEHIND MY NAME MEAN? I am so glad you asked :)

ASP: Accredited Staging Professional: The only nationally recognized professional credential.
IAHSP: International Association of Home Staging Professionals
SIRC: Seattle International Association of Home Staging Professionals Regional Chapter

As an ASP Home Staging professional, I prepare homes for sale, so that they appeal to the most amount of buyers and generate the highest price while listing for the least amount of time on the market. Staged homes traditionally present themselves better than the competition by being clean, clutter-free, and ready to show to prospective buyers.

Home Staging is NOT decorating, fluffing, remodeling or interior design. Instead Home Staging IS detailing, de-cluttering, depersonalizing and preparing a seller's home to give it a model home appearance so that the potential buyer can see themselves living in the house.

Your investment in having your property Staged will depend on what level of service you would like to take advantage of. We can do as little or as much as you would like to prepare your property for listing.

A CONSULTATION will provide you with the basics of recommended adjustments to your property prior to listing. At the end of a consultation, you will have all the information necessary for a "Do It Yourself" staging.

COMPASSIONATE CONSULTATION packages are available for meeting the unique needs of clients undergoing Short Sale.

A WRITTEN SUMMARY of the consultation can be available to you for a minimal additional investment.

A PROPOSAL FOR SERVICES BID will give you an assessment of what is needed for Staging your property prior to listing. Once a bid has been accepted, we provide HANDS-ON-STAGING SERVICES.

We find that most homeowners posses ample furnishings and accessories to provide a successful Home Staging. Where appropriate, we can also acquire quality furniture and accessories to either augment your existing furnishings or to Stage a vacant home.

"The investment of staging IN your home is always less than a price reduction ON your home."~ Barb Schwarz, the Creator of Home Staging

ASP Home Staging professionals do much more than clear off counters and take down personal photos. When you get ready to place your home on the market, your home becomes a product for sale. To be competitive in the marketplace, a product must be priced right and have appeal to the buyer. The broader your appeal, the higher the demand for your product.

Staging is the process of preparing ANY home for sale, regardless of price, condition, or location. Using a proven professional set of guidelines, we will work with you room by room inside your home and all around the outside to get it Staged in the best way possible for the least amount of investment.

Who among us wouldn't deatil every inch of our cars prior to showing it for sale?...We steam the engines, clean out the trunk and the glove box, vaccuum, shine and polish every fingerprint away. If we would do that for the investment of our vehicle dollars, how much more attention should we give to our largest investments?

Staged Homes look better than competing homes for sale. Staged Homes sell faster. Staged Homes sell for more money in most markets. Photos of Staged Homes look better in print and Internet advertising. Agents working with Buyers recognize Staged Homes as properties ready to sell and are more likely to show your home. Staged Homes are recognized by buyers as the best properties to see. Buyers view Staged Homes as homes that have been well taken care of. Building inspectors view Staged Homes as homes that have been well taken care of. Appraisers are more likely to appraise Staged Homes at a high value.

As Realtors, Homeowners are looking to your expertise in pricing and bring in Qualified buyers. When you partner with an ASP Home Stager, who has the training to present ANY house to it's premium potential, you bring a professional strength to your selling team.

As a Homeowner, you have the most to gain with a quick sale at the highest possible price. The bottom line is what number will be on that final check...it's as basic as dollars and cents.

Especially given today's market conditions, homes will compete against a huge inventory of available homes. Now more than ever, especially in the current buyer's market, it's extremely important to make a listing stand out in the marketplace.

So what can Homeowners and their agents do to catch the attention of home buyers? They need to:

Make the first impression of the home positive and inviting. Enable buyers to envision themselves living in the home Show the full potential of the home Make the home visually appealing for online listings

Sellers and the real estate agents representing them benefit from Staging homes with the assistance of an Accredited Staging Professional.

At the end of the day, neither the Realtor or the Seller wants to leave equity on the table.
