I am a bit of a "stats" guy (I once ran a Rotisserie baseball league) and like to keep track of whats going on in the market by creating graphs of prices and volumes locally.  I know you can't predict the future from the past, but I think it is helpful to know where you have been and where you are at a point in time.  The data supports what we've heard on TV about the national market.  Prices have been in decline and median prices are now about back to where they were in 2002.
