R. Eric Axelson was born and raised in Burlington County, New Jersey. He has lived at various times in South Carolina, Israel, Philadelphia, Iowa, Illinois and the Los Angeles area. This fueled Eric's life-long love of travel. With family now in North Carolina, Iowa, Texas and Florida, he still strives to visit each place at least once every year! Where does he find the time!

Eric has resided in the Haddonwood area of Camden County, New Jersey area off and on for the past twenty (20) years, most recently settling into home ownership in Haddon Township (Westmont) more than 6 years ago. Please note that Haddonwood is not an actual town, but a term Eric coined to describe the Haddonfield-to-Collingswood corridor. It includes the "Speedline towns" of Audubon, Audubon Park, Collingswood, Haddon Heights, Haddon Township, Haddonfield, Mount Ephraim, Oaklyn and Tavistock. West Collingswood, West Collingswood Heights and Westmont are boroughs/sections of some of the aforementioned towns.
