Although I serve all of Whatcom County, most of my sales are residential and in the medium to high end price range. I sell more single-family homes than investment properties or vacant land, although I have handled many of those transactions, too. More recently, I have taken full advantage of my newest designation (SRES), with the increasing numbers of seniors who are interested in purchasing property in our area.  These individuals and couples are either downsizing, retiring, or both and their needs rarely coincide with the concerns of first-time buyers or persons moving up (in price or size).  Working with a wide variety of ages among my clientele keeps me happy because I like variety!  Nevertheless, when an elderly client asks me, "If you were MY daughter (or granddaughter), what would you advise me?", I am honored to answer that question. By the same token, when a client my son's age asks me for help, I provide the care and concern as they work through making that first home purchase that their parents would want them to receive.
