| The best part about working with John and his team was the excellent communication. Being over 300 miles away and trying to sell a home is difficult enough, but Johan and his team made it seem like they were right next door and were always responsive to our questions. | If you are going to pay for a realtor, why not choose the realtor that knows the market best? It might seem risky to choose a team that represents so many buyers and sellers, as maybe they won't be able to give as much personal attention. In the case of the Ames Team, there was always someone to help when I was concerned about some facet of selling my home. Emails and calls were returned quickly and helpfully. We started with a sale price that gave us room to adjust our price over time, and the Ames Team helped us navigate the timing and amount of price adjustments in a way that made sense given the challenges of the market at the time. We feel fortunate to have sold our home for a fair price in a tough market. |

| John and his team worked tirelessly to help us get our home sold. I told John I wouldn't negotiate on price, and the Ames Team continued to show the house. After a few months I decided to lower the price, then we started getting a lot of interest. We was presented with 2 offers from John, and in the end we got are full (original) asking price. |

| John Ames is our perfect realtor. He had our house sold in the exact time frame we needed. It was a beautiful home, but no garage and that made it a challenge. John's knowledge was invaluable as my husband followed his every suggestion to make the property attractive. His understanding of the business and loan procedures was also a huge factor. He advised us when we needed it and was always available to answer our questions. His office manager always knew precisely where the property sale was at during the whole process and was on top of every detail. I will recommend The Ames Team at every opportunity! |

| I was in quite a bind with a bad mortgage loan, and I was upside down on my home. This was during the housing crisis in 2008-2009. I knew I needed to find someone who was very familiar and experienced at short sells. I asked around quite a bit, and the Ames Team name (John Ames) kept coming up...So, I contacted John Ames, and he came out to my home. He was so gracious, smart, confident, and knew what needed to be done to get me out of the bad situation I was in. He worked with the bank on my short sell (which up to that point, I had zero results on my own), but John knew how to deal with the big bank, and knew exactly what needed to be done. In the end, it was a short process, that didn't stress the life out of me. He took care of me, and all was handled so well. I can't thank John and his team enough. I recommend him to everyone I come across who is looking for a good, honest realtor. |
