Before becoming a mortgage banker
Soccer was a passion in my childhood it taught me teamwork, and the importance of communication. My first job was at Newsday at the age of 12. Working at my father store Angelo Lumber at 14 really got me interested in the housing market. Dealing with customer service issues gave me the tools to grow. I secured my Series 7 & 63 license at age 19 and excelled as a stockbroker at Kensington Wells.
Why I write mortgage loans
Mortgage Banking found me 18 years ago. Right from the start I knew this was my passion. Helping people acquire a home for the first time is something special. At BLS Funding we grew it into one of the largest branch offices in New York. I handled all operations of the branch. We originated over 1 billion dollars of business in our career. Helping homeowners and working thru complex issues was something I embraced. I currently hold the position of Division Manager and Business Development for Continental Home Loans. Education and teaching is something I love to do. I currently hold a license as a Real Estate & Mortgage Instructor. We provide workshops for both the real estate community and homeowners alike. I specialize in first time Homebuyer Loans like FHA, SONYMA, 203k Loan and no money down programs. We have many different options for our clients that have purchased before. As one of the largest lenders in New York Team Gionis can handle any situation that arises. We speak many different languages to make the transaction smooth. I als enjoy advising people on there credit, and helping them purchase a home.
