Husband and father of 2 boys, having built a career in retail, I got the "real estate bug" in 2004 and became a "Flip This House" addict.
I was tired of working all holidays, weekends, and making money for other people, so I took the plunge leaving that career to learn real estate. Having done a few rehabs, I learned that wasn't for me so I focused on finding property through Probate, Tax Liens, and lastly Short Sales. After great successes in Probate and tax liens, I felt I needed another area of knowledge to make sure I could always make an income in the industry, so I learned short sales.
I quickly found that I was good at them and decided to focus and get after it!
Now I have a team, the largest market share of short sale business in my area with DOZENS of loyal Realtors that gladly bring us short sale transactions to negotiate for them. Heck, why wouldn't they? We do all the short sale work, they get full commission, and we get paid by the buyer. Once I explain our process to a newly introduced Realtor, the most common response is, "How many can you handle?"
Bottom line...I love this business. Gone are the working holidays and weekends. I can actually go camping with my kids like other "normal" families and take cycling trips whenever I feel like it.
I'm now psychologically unemployable!
We specialize in negotiating short sales for Realtors in order to 1) Help homeowners avoid foreclosure, and 2) Help the Realtor avoid doing all of the heavy lifting.
