           Baldwin. What an interesting name. Many years ago my mother was pregnant with a boy who today is known as Baldwin Salazar. For years I have heard my father tell the story over and over again on how he came up with my name. Pascual a proud father of four will always start the story with... "Let me tell you how I got my son name." He would then say "your mother was six month pregnant with you (me) and I had a construction project in Baldwin Park." Every day he would take the 10 freeway and exit Baldwin Park Blvd. He loved the name and said to him-self "that will be my son's name." Three months later I was introduce to the world; the doctor smacked my butt, and said it's a boy! Full of joy my parents had there third son. The nurse came around and asked? What will be the name of your child... dad proudly said "Baldwin!" So as you could see I have two last names. The interesting thing about it is my parents rarely call me Baldwin. They call me Bobby. Go figure.
