Just like I did years ago, I researched every company that I could locate almost ten years ago, and it was my marketing that made my sales escalate without a sphere of influence in a town I just moved too. Technology is constantly changing and I find my current site antiquated, and customer support the same. With Property Minder, they were very helpful, even thou I haven't pulled the trigger quite yet, Property Minder is high on my list.... from my research without paying your commission all out at once, there are about five companies that are designed for the agent with a great back office, it was the back office years ago that I chose my site and using the same decision this go around..... you all have to do your homework and see what works best for you. On the consumer end of the site, I look for fast search engine with allot of search features and large photos, and Property Minder does a great job. I did look at Market Leader and Real Geeks, and photos are large with Real Geeks, but find they are geared for the broker and Market Leader present smaller photos..... two schools to that thought I was told, small pictures, fast to load, and large photos take longer to load, well that might be the days of dial up, they load as equally as fast, and some say to much information is overload..... who knows.... I like large clear photos when searching for investment properties, before I hop in the car to view the properties. Most agents don't really use half of the power of a good marketing web site Property Minder is very user friendly, and the back office will do everything you need it to do, I did find Market Leader to have a little better layout to assist in your back office duties. Most top of the line web sites you can't go wrong, and most are around a hundred dollars a month and set up fees up to a thousand or more, but not necessary to pay for the strategic layout as the templates that these fine web companies offer now come with either all the bells and whistles or plan jane..... You can make a science looking for the perfect web site. Then you find the perfect site, and find out your mls IDX is not compatible...... so make sure you ask before you spend allot of time with companies on the phone..... first thing to ask them is ..... is my site compatible.
