I started about two years ago with RealGeeks and still cannot say enough good about the product. In only about 6-8 months I was ranking organically along with other sites that have been at it for years. With a little bit of direction from Jeff and Co and some work writing about the areas, the site will start showing up in search engines about as quick as anything else I know of. Support and getting your questions answered quickly are what you can expect. Other RealGeeks site owners are also willing to help and share their ideas. You can pretty much make the site anything you want it to be. Changes and adding pages are easy and can be picked up by non-tech people in hours, not days. For those who are more technical, there is a lot of flexibility is you want to insert your own custom HTML. The platform lends itself to agents of all technical (or non-technical) levels.
Page loads have always been fast and I receive at least several comments per month from our leads noting that "your site is one of the best on the net."
The contact manager is great when fully implemented. Template emails can be added to cover the regular types of followups we all need to do and can be updated on the fly. These are HUGE time savers especially if you are trying to manager 500+ leads yourself. Using the scheduling component means you will never miss a followup. Better followup means more closings.
Once you get your site rolling, your challenge will be how to handle the leads. I ended up adding several agents to my site to cover what I could not. A growing site brings some new welcomed challenges :)
There has been several upgrades that have come out of our RealGeek discussions that have been rolled out without being "nickle and dimed" to death. In fact, there has never been a charge other than the monthly after the setup. I know there are others out there that charge a lot more and don't deliver half of what I have received.
If I had to say what was the most important factor in choosing RealGeeks, it was the fair cost and the fact that Jeff is a real estate broker an uses this platform in his own business. A rare combination that simply works :)
