I couldn't function in this business without my ipad. I use Pages, Dropbox, Docusign, Fusion (Corelogic), and Zipform. I've done whole transactions on it. Any limitations it has comes from a very poor interface for the MLS provided by CoreLogic (it's getting better but has a ways to go before it utilizes the full potential of the device)....otherwise, zipforms and documents work fine on it. I use the other version of the MLS provided by the Maine Real Estate Information System most of the time but can get by on the CoreLogic version when I need it. I can sit in front of a client with a disclosure form up on my screen and go thru it once, no more double-handling data...the same with contracts and any other form needed. It's a great tool on the road and definitely has it's place in the RE business. When I'm at the office or home I use my PC and all the data is right there...no more lugging around a laptop.
