Flickr "wants to help people make their photos available to the people who matter to them." and "wants to enable new ways of organizing photos and video." They do a fine job in achieving their goals. It was sold to Yahoo, then to Verizon in 2016, and the changes in ownership resulted in some confusion about the need for a Yahoo account - or not - and they do offer a FREE option, and of course paid options for heavier users. All in all a Five Star option for image management.
