Lately I am being contacted by ADT reps wanting contact information for clients and that if they go with ADT there is an incentive for me. This makes me uncomfortable and have decided not to participate and leave that up to the clients. I am not sure if this is happening everywhere.

Whenever I show a house that has an alarm, I get a little nervous, certain that I'll set it off. But the ADT systems are simple enough to pass the Pat Test. ADT probably is a very likely deterrent to burglary. Also mounting security lights help. The installers at ADT are very friendly and do explain how the security system works very well. However, I found the installation process a little invasive to one's home. Overall, I would recommend ADT!
