First year great, 2nd year terible
Submitted on 07/31/2013
The first year was great. Many quality leads.
The second year they changed their business model and the number, and the quality, of leads decreased dramatically.
From reading similar comments, my guess is that they want to cycle Realtors in and out so their sales people will always have something to sell.
Too bad, ...

Tread Carefully With Buying Zillow Zip Codes
Submitted on 07/16/2013
Unfortunately Zillow talks a good game but their delivery is lacking. Before you invest in purchasing all or part of a zip code check as to whether you can do better with your own blogging and SEO efforts.

Not much I can say!
Submitted on 07/16/2013
My mother always told me ..."If you can't say something nice:.... I am fed up with every company that fleeces realtors, They take our hard earned listing information, collect semi-qualified leads and sell them back to us (non exclusively, I might add, for huge monthly fees. Some may turn into sales. That has not been m...

Zillow Lead Service scores a big Zero!
Submitted on 07/15/2013
Do not spend one single minute of your time with this service and certainly do not give them any of your money. Their smooth talking sales people do not explain to you just how many other agents are sharing the same leads with you and by the time you find out that it is not as exclusive as you were promised it is too ...

Information is not Accurate
Submitted on 07/14/2013
Zillow is a 1-sided source for homes.
They fail to update listings as status changes, will make Sold listings Active again, and provide inaccurate data.
The feed needs to be updated to correctly reflect the status of every listing on the site. Not just on the initial list date.

Zillow Agent Advertising - Ehh..
Submitted on 07/10/2013
I have been using Zillow as long as I'm licensed in New Jersey, just about 5 years now. I've always found their Zestimates to be Inaccurate, most of the time way off. They call all the time looking to sell territory or zip codes. Jersey City and Hoboken have thousands of agents fighting over the same zip codes. I b...

Zillow Featured Agent Advertising
Submitted on 07/07/2013
As a new business owner in 2009, who was also new to the state, with no sphere of influence and starting totally from scratch - I needed a way to attract customers FAST. One of the marketing ideas I signed up for was Zillow Featured Agent ads and I have been very pleased with the return on dollar invested.
The old ...

Thumbs-Down for Zillow
Submitted on 07/01/2013
I spent 2 years paying for their service with mixed reviews. The first year was fantastic with many quality leads that were converted into clients. The 2nd year they changed their "format" which brought several local agents into the mix and the quality of leads was terrible...no clients produced and each call I made ...

Do they have a "Zero Star" category?
Submitted on 06/06/2013
Personally, I think it's a whole lot more cost effective to go back to good old fashioned prospecting rather than pay Zillow for leads of dubious value. I think that the biggest negative is that the people who give up their information to Zillow seem to be, by and large, unaware of the prices in this area, and if they...

Zillow?? WARNING!! WARNING!!
Submitted on 05/30/2013
If you're a Buyers Broker, DON'T EVEN GO THERE!
Zillow is a classic Bait and Switch. You buy a territory and THEN you find that that "territory" was also sold to, not just the one other real estate company, but the search results for your area will display, in the case of Lovettsville, Virginia, up to 20 agents ...
