Dotloop also has a certification of signature time and date stamp for verification purposes which most lenders will ask for. You could simply create loops and select who you would like to view the loops and they could easily review documents. It is so user friendly. hide

I'm desperate for a solution to this dot loop issue. Before switching to dot loop, I would simply generate my documents on my forms software, fill in the information, save as a PDF, then upload to Authetisign. Drop and drag my signatures, click send, DONE! 20-30 mins tops. A short while later I would get 3 emails, buyer one, buyer two received the documents, the last email was the merged document fully signed by both buyers. Click send to the listing agent, Offer submitted. NOW with dot loop, I receive an average of 30 emails per offer. One email EVERY TIME each buyer signs a page. This is insane. The ONLY answer dot loop can give me is to turn off notifications. Or they say their system is not capable of sending one email of the completed document. Was I spoiled by Authentisign? The market is moving too fast for me to stop everything and check dot loop for signings. Has anyone figured out how to get just one email notification that the entire batch of documents has been signed by all like Authentisign? hide

This product is easy to use even for the most technologically challenged. It has saved a ton of paper, time, and energy. One thing to note before using is that all those in a loop must have there own Email address. I recommend everyone use this product. Super Easy and I Love It. hide

The exception is that if I have more than one party, each has to have a separate email address. Now you and I know how easy it is to set up a free email account with gmail or other provider. However, I am dealing with sellers that are 80-somethings and am lucky they have one. I don't require them to show me proof of identification when they sign documents in my presence so what is the difference if they are able to go in one email account and click as to which one of the parties is signing? Other than that, this program works flawlessly and I really like it. hide

I can write an offer in less than half the time and getting things signed is easier. If a key player refuses to use it go old school for them and then scan it to DL. Since my first computer science class (1970), my mantra for "good software" is: Absolutely Intuitive... more Since my first computer science class (1970), my mantra for "good software" is: Absolutely Intuitive. Major failure to make your software obviously intuitive is failure. That simple. Near Total Failure occurs when the user is uncertain as to whether data is being lost. There were too many times in mid-2013 when we were very uncertain. When KW first pushed this software to all agents, I was an initial Train-The-Trainer student. It was so bad that I refused to implement for my small team, and recommended that no one in our office use DotLoop. This was 2+ years ago. We continued to use ZipForms and DocuSign effectively and efficiently. (Maryland) Until our brokerage refused to keep the required forms available in ZipForms. Lots of agony followed for at least 3-months. During the height of Summer-2013 boom, when we were averaging a settlement a week. Staff called the product DotPoop. We did a work-around of using DotLoop only to produce the basic form, then downloaded to .pdf and on to DocuSign. Our clients have ALWAYS preferred DocuSign to DotLoop for signing documents. Always. Because it is so obvious what they are supposed to do, when to do it, and what to do next. DotLoop? Not so much. I purchased DotLoop Team Dashboard ($200/month) because they promised "Enhanced customer support." They delivered on that promise for a month or two. We now get no better responses than ordinary KW agents, and way too often have to ask 2-3 times to get ANY response. That is totally unsat. DotLoop has come a looooong way since, and continues to improve every month. The basic design and long term goals/objectives SHOULD make this a premier product in the near future. The promise of "all party involvement" is compelling. The ability to control the document between buyers, sellers, agents, vendors is superb. When it is all working. Not always the case right now. As an educated computer scientist, I'm not sure what to recommend. I suspect they need just a couple more "fixes" and lots more training/examples. They MUST add to their support staff...there is no excuse for response times exceeding 10-minutes, yet they often take more than a day to get back to us. Really?? I give them a 3-stars as a compromise between future and past...and MOST OF ALL -- HOPE FOR THE FUTURE. I have no choice but to use this product (Keller Williams requirement to get paid), so I'm counting on KW to push DotLoop to get it right...SOON. If we had a choice, we'd stay with Zip/DocuSign another 6-months. You should take a hard line "prove it works" if you are thinking of moving to DotLoop. hide
