Here’s where you’ll find a community willing to share their experiences with everything from computers to coaches and
from contact management software to virtual assistants. If there’s a real estate-related product or service, we’ll
have reviews for it.
Consider this patch of ActiveRain real estate your water cooler. Gather around it and talk to you colleagues – get and
offer advice. We hope this will be a forum for both teaching others about what you know and for learning from the rest
of the ActiveRain community.
What products or services work for you? Don’t be shy -- we’d love to hear all about them and spread the word to
help all ActiveRainers move on to the next level in their businesses.
RainCamp is an online event held every 3-6 months that brings together thought leaders in real estate who share practical advice for real estate agents.
Originally, RainCamp was offered as a live one-day event at venues across the country and taught by Ben Kinney and Bob Stewart.
ActiveRain converted these to virtual events so we could reach thousands of agents instead of hundreds and so our community can avoid the time away from work and expense of traveling for a live event.

Oh how I miss our ActiveRain camps! I went to my first raincamp in Phoenix and had a blast meeting lots of new people and learning so many new tips and tricks on blogging etc. I've attending a number of raincamps in other areas and my biggest wish is that we'd all figure out how to bring back raincamps!

This is one of the best things that has happened to me - Raincamp!
I do know, it changed my life! The one I attended was in Boston - perhaps one of the last ones.
This showed me the way on how I can improve my online presence - by blogging on ActiveRain.
I do remember, it was Ben Kinney and apart from few local top names, Bill Gassett was there sharing their expertise.

I have never been to a RainCamp, but I recall having interest in trying to attend one. Will they be offered again in the future? I hope so, as I would like to attend and learn as much as I can. I have attended webinars through ActiveRain University, so I would assume a RainCamp would be somewhat similar, but with actual face to face interaction and teaching.

For AR one learns amazingly amount of new information that is available else where. I rarely give a 5 star as I believe there is always room for improvement. It tells what works and what does not work in the www world.
For this Camp it gets a five star rating from me.

As other reviewers have stated: "Rain Camps were amazing opportunities to meet a couple of hundred of our favorite bloggers and, at the same time, learn about various untried business models, and share the many things that worked, or didn't work, in our real estate practices" and "The experience is unforgettable. You interact, share ideas, brainstorm, learn, laugh and grow in a great environment. And make new friends, which is the best part of all. " we attended in May 2010 - it was truly a Five Star Event back in the day

For the newer bloggers on ActiveRain, Rain Camps were amazing opportunities to meet a couple of hundred of our favorite bloggers and, at the same time, learn about various untried business models, and share the many things that worked, or didn't work, in our real estate practices. These sessions fell by the wayside a few years ago as ActiveRain changed hands a few times. And I, for one, am really, really hoping that Ben Kinney and Bob Stewart will bring them back - soon!

These used to be great programs, but they seemed to have disappeared from existence. There used to be some great programs that were well attended but it seems to have run out of favor with the new owners. Maybe they could be re-spun in conjunction with Trulia or Market Leader.

I return to the products I review time and time to again to determine if and when their products are updated, revised or discontinued. I encourage you to do the same and stay abreast of recent developments. Being up to date on products, particular standards and levels of practice is due diligence that should be undertaken by every real estate professional.

Since this is a series of webinars it's much easier to make time for and much harder to miss. The content is always fresh with information coming from market leaders and innovators. The content is delivered in a way that lines up with how you do business. You will most certainly find a piece of information that will help you in day to day business and I would be shocked if you walked away from one having not learned at least one new fact.
