Words are simply a means of communication for most people. But for some, words have the power to change lives, and words are so powerful that they can make or break someone's destiny.
The right words at the right time can inspire someone to do great things, while the wrong words can destroy someone's life.

The spoken words are incredibly powerful. Remember these speeches that have moved us throughout history. Whether it was Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech or JFK's famous "Ask not what your country can do for you" address, the words spoken had the power to change the world.
And while you may not be called upon to give a speech that will change the course of history, your words still have the power to change lives.
Your ability to affect people's lives is within your words, and they can either make another person feel cherished or feel as though they have no value.
The written words tell stories, communicate ideas, and record information. Writing has provided extraordinary experiences from ancient times to today's digital world.
Negative headlines may sell, but kind and thoughtful written words resonate and are remembered.
A blind man is sitting on the side of the street with a sign, "It's a beautiful day, and I can't see it!" These simple words find ways to reach deep down and touch our hearts and souls! They bring out the goodness and deep emotion within us.

Try saying positive words to yourself in front of a mirror every day for a week, and see how that will change YOU!
Once words are spoken or written, they don't come back. Positive words inspire and motivate positive action and bring peace.
Use your words to build people up, not tear them down. And finally, always remember that your words have the power to change lives - for better or for worse. Words matter!
