Fire arm deer season opened in Gladwin, Michigan and all of Michigan on November 15, 2009. Here in northern Michigan it seems to be a holiday. If the opening day falls on a school day the schools will closed. This is due in part to low attendance and safety issues. It is not safe for our kids...
