Every time we disparage the state of the economy and talk about the terrible state of real estate, we create a self fulfilling prophesy. It is my view that if we are positive, then positive things will happen. There are great opportunities in the market and it is time to stress the positive, and put a bow on it.

I spent a week in Costa Rica and took a lot of pictures. I have published many photos, and these represent a compilation of some more. Costa Rica is a country of contrasts. The capital city of San Jose could be anywhere, but so many of the provinces are known for their tranquility and natural bea...

The most difficult part of any travel I do is coming to grips with leaving my gang behind. I love seeing new places, meeting new people and learning about things I would never know otherwise. When Margie, Finn, Bill and Chico go to Camp Wagalot, I know they have a really good time and are well ta...

I spent a week in Costa Rica and was blown away by its natural beauty. The drives in the mountainous areas are usually long and difficult, but I absolutely loved them. It is as breathtaking as any views I have ever seen anywhere. The density, the variety and the expansiveness of the views can not...

I know about rain forests and cloudy, rainy places. I did not know how naturally beautiful Costa Rica was. Both near Arenal, the volcano, in the jungles and up in the hills, the scenes are just amazing. My pictures are pretty good but really do not even begin to give an actual impression of the c...

It took a long while to get here but I am glad I am here now. We spent some time in San Jose, the capital with more traffic than I could handle and then off to Sarchi, a small town with a market and finally La Fortuna another small town with a lovely park, beautiful cathedral and no tourists. Her...

I found my thrill, not on Blueberry Hill but on a boat in the rain forest. Howler monkeys are frequently heard, but seldom captured in photos because they are high in the trees. When they howl, you certainly know it. They sound serious and it is hard to believe they are small. They look like smal...

Having traveled to exotic places I have seen many many animals and more kinds of monkeys than I wanted to. In the rain forrest in Costa Rica I saw and more importantly heard,  the Howler Monkeys. These creatures live high in the trees andare hard to see, but when they howl, you will never ever fo...

A Saturday morning without rain is a good thing. I have taken my laundry to the lobby and will enjoy a late breakfast. Going to Coffee Plantation this afternoon. It is nice not to be on the go. The hotel is primitive but OK and I will really appreciate my bed when I get home. Enjoy your day.

I have been in Costa Rica since Tuesday. December and January are the rainy season but it has been rainy here since I came. It has poured and there has beemn sunnto. For a small country Costa Rica is complex and interesting. No third world place, but there are contradictions. In the middle of no ...
