A good ventilation fan in your bathroom will help with the moisture in the bathroom and in your home. When we bought our home in 2010 the the ensuite bathroom did not have a fan. When the house was built it was to code because there was a window in the bathroom. It's true, the window in the bathroom can help with getting rid of the humidity when you take a bath or shower. We see it everywhere, people are using their mobile phones all the time, everywhere. I was looking for a phone number the other day so I Google'd it and found them on Google. I was on my iPhone and to my surprise, when I clicked on their link, I saw their mobile enabled web site. I was glad to see that the web site was optimized for the mobile. It is much easier to get store locations, phone numbers, etc...

At our last general meeting there was a challenge given to all of the Keller Williams ~ Ottawa Realty agents. Can we raise $10,000 in 10 days to help Haiti. I am glad to say that I am part of a team who accomplished our goal.

It's in the middle of winter and all of a sudden it warms up and the rain comes down for a day or two. It's great because it gives us a quick glance at what is coming soon .... Spring.
But what does that do to our homes? Where does the rain water go? Most of us (including me until a few days ago) don't really know or even think about it. That's the big question on many client's minds. Where do the buyers really come from?
One on the reasons that my marketing plan for all my listings is focused online. Why do you ask? It's because the stats are showing us thst most buyers find homes online.

I'll let you be the judge. I just wanted to point out that the homes that hit the mls system lately are sold very quickly. In the past six (6) days there has been 3 new listings in the Convent Glen area. In the past 6 days, 2 of those 3 homes have offers on them. This is the time where buyers are out there looking to buy a home. 2 out of 3 are already conditionally sold.

Another great month for the Real Estate market in the Ottawa area. The stats just came out from the Ottawa Real Estate Board and we have sold more homes again in October compared to last year. An increase of 24.7%. That's right!! Another record breaking month here in Ottawa.
Agents in the Ottawa are sold 1,202 residential properties compared to 964 in October 2008. The year to date numbers are 4% more than the same period last year.
A low inventory and low interest rates is certainly helping these high numbers. The average sale price is $318,655, an increase of 13.6% … (0 comments)

WOW, it's October 26th and the market is hot.
A brand new listing hit the mls system last Wednesday. We had 19 visits and 10 couples come through the Open House. This was a beautiful home ,well maitained and on a nice corner lot.

Good morning everyone in Ottawa. What a great morning to be thinking of buying or selling a home here in the Ottawa Real Estate Market.
There are currently not too many homes for sale in the Ottawa area but there are still many buyers looking for a home to buy. The law of supply and demand also affects the housing market. It has been a very different type of Fall market this year. Usually the market tends to slow down but from what I can see there is no sign of a slow down right now.

Yesterday (September 24, 2009) was the Keller Williams Ottawa Realty annual golf tournament and it was held at the Emerald Links golf club in Metcalfe.
It was a beautiful and sunny day and many of the Real Estate agents attended this wonderful event to help raise money for KW Cares. Many of you have never heard of KW Cares, but this is a way that we can give back to the community.
