Using thousands of stitched together Google Street View images, take a trip across The Brooklyn Bridge, around to The Manhattan Bridge, into Lower Manhattan and up the full length of Madison Avenue to Central Park.

Central Park West runs along Central Park from west 59th street to West 110th street. The 8th Avenue subway B & C trains run along Central Park West.
Upper West Side zoning does not permit buildings to be taller than approximately 20 stories between 72nd and 96th Streets except the Art Deco Twin Tower buildings from the 1930's on Central Park West. The set back towers can go up to 30 floors.

The Upper West Side extends north from 72nd Street up to 96th Street and is bordered by Central Park West and Riverside Park. There are two #2 and #3 express subway stops on the Upper West Side at 72nd Street and 96th Street on Broadway. Both station head houses have have been recently renovated. The 96th Street station  has a futuristic looking glass dome. The new station opened but is expected to be completed next year. Both stations are located in the Broadway median. The 8th Avenue subway B & C trains run along Central Park West.

In Sunday’s New York Times real estate column Big Deal by Josh Barbanel there’s an item titled Five Turrets, No Dungeons about a couple that recently bought and moved into their new $6.4 million turret condo at 455 Central Park West between 105th and 106th Street.

 In 1884, the New York Daily Graphic called it:
"one of the most perfect apartment houses in the world"
Today more than 100 years later, the Dakota still has fabulous apartments and magnificent views. Some of The Dakota's most famous former and current residents are Lauren Bacall, Judy Holiday, Rosemary Clooney, John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Gilda Radner and Barlis Karloff.
