Another Short Sale process came to a restful end today with a successful closing. Evergreen Lakes a Coconut Creek Short Sale closed today. My Sellers have eliminated a major stressor in their lives and a Buyer picked up a beautifully new furnished home at a fabulous price.  I had reported on this Short Sale a while ago while negotiating with Wachovia on what they wanted to pay me. I promised to report back on the outcome.

It has happened again. In reading the Sun Sentinel Broward County edition this morning, another story appeared where a struggling young couple was supposed to have lost their home at auction on Friday due to their home being in foreclosure. What's worse is that this is a young Marine who was stationed in Fallujah, Iraq and came back with injuries - where is his support? (That is a whole other blog post subject.) Their story clearly illustrated a hardship which would qualify them for a Short Sale.

Contrary to many opinions Short Sale property listings are selling here in Coral Springs, Coconut Creek, Parkland and surrounding cities.  What makes them so special and why are they selling?

We know that Short Sales aren't an easy task to accomplish. Yet, in the end when you make it to the closing as I did did yesterday and you hear the joy and relief from your Sellers, there really is nothing like it. Especially when they send you a testimonial expressing their gratitude and you're moved to tears. I was blessed by my experience.

Chase the Lender, a real pleasure! I closed on a short sale today for a client of mine and it was truly a daunting Short Sale.
The property wasn't an easy sell as it really didn't stick out and say "buy me"; not visually appealing, no upgrades, ground level porch faced a parking lot and the condo association didn't allow this unit to ever be rented. Oh my gosh, who wanted such a home. We found a first time home buyer who couldn't wait to move in and out from home! Perfect.
