preferred home brokers: Protecting Tenants Rights in Foreclosed Homes 2-Minute Real Estate Video - 08/24/12 08:19 AM
Protecting the rights of tenants in foreclosed properties is an issue that's become prevelant in today's real estate. This could impact  renters in homes that are currently in the process of foreclosure or  homes which have already been taken back (foreclosed on) by the lender.

Meaning they may even have recently rented a property, signed a lease for a period of time, paid their rent/lease payments only to … (10 comments)

preferred home brokers: Home Buying Home Warranty 2-Minute Video - 01/24/12 04:33 AM
When it comes to home buying, many sellers offer a "Home Buyer Home Warranty" included in the negotiated purchase of a home. In the event it's not included, home warranties are also available for purchase from the buying side.
Home buyer home warranties are basically a one-year contract, regardless of who pays, (the buyer or the seller) for a period of time, typically written for one year from the close of escrow. Most of them are usually renewable at the end of the initial period of time at the option of home buyers.
Like any contract/policy, it's important to know what's covered...and what's … (9 comments)

Celebrating with appreciation for those who serve, I've enjoyed reading your many posts of Veteran's Day and those who are special. Here's a quick glimpse at some of my favorite Veterans along the way.

This is a shot I took in March while visiting Pearl Harbor in Honolulu. I've been there several times, yet this is the first time I've seen a group like this.
It was so nice to see how they were honored and respected by the visitors. They were at the table signing books purchased in the gift shop there.

preferred home brokers: Home Buyer's Final Walk Through Video - 05/23/11 01:47 PM
When it comes to buying a home most contracts including the California Residential Purchase Agreement provides for a buyers final walk through called VERIFICATION OF CONDITION to verify the condition just prior to closing.
Earlier in the transaction home buyers normally have a contract provision that allows for a "buyers investigation" time period, meaning the appropriate time in the process for the third-party physical inspection among other things which is different than the final walk through taking place later.
It's important for consumers to know in the CA purchase agreement the final walk though is not a contingency of the agreement, … (16 comments)
