brea homes: Fitness Grill ~ BREA, CA - 06/15/08 06:46 PM
Last night I met a few friends and fellow Rainer Marlene Bridges for a guilt-free dinner at Brea's Fitness Grill.
I say guilt-free because diners have the opportunity to make informed decisions based on the carbs ~ fat  ~ and protein ~  listed for each dish on the menu. Well I guess everything except for the cocktails and maybe the wine.
The healthy and tasty menu is well rounded, there's something for everyone!
Are you a free-style pasta or a fitness pizza lover? You will find them both here. Salads? Of course, they're a full meal in themselves.  Fresh fish and grilled chicken … (28 comments)

"Crusin Brea" has become a Father's Day favorite in Orange County, CA.  It's a good time for all. Hosted by the Orange County Mustang Club  this fun event will showcase classic cars from every make and model you can imagine.
Just think about it, for some it's like a step-back-in-time just seeing your favorite "57 Chevy".  Dwane Roberts from Yorba Linda, CA is one of my all time favorites. Dwane's 57 is well known as the "Best of Show" throughout the southland. I hoping he will be there again in 2008.

brea homes: Your Home Is Listed for Sale ~ Without Your Knowledge? Yes, Yet Another Short-Sale Scam! - 04/30/08 12:30 PM
Just when you think you've heard it all, this one was a new one for me. As a home owner you've noticed that people have been driving by the house, slowing down in front of you home, and even your kidsnotice it too. Since you're behind in your mortgage payments, you have an idea, yet you're not sure.
As most of us know there are a lot of reputable folks in the business of real estate, actually most...Yet those who are out of a "quick-buck" seem to garner the attention and the dollars of cash poor home owners at times like these.

brea homes: Spring in the Southland ~ SoCal Style - 04/07/08 01:43 PM
Springtime in Southern California is such a wonderful time of year. Earlier today during a neighborhood walk the fragrances of the season surrounded me.
This time of year so many of our hillsides turn from light green to bright yellow with the mustard in bloom. It seems like this year especially since we had a good year for rain fall.  Last week I noticed the wild flower in bloom at the on ramp to the freeway. The inland Antelope Valley looks absolutely spectacular this spring covered with an orange blanket of California Poppies, our state flower.
The photo on the right was taken at the nearby Chino Hills State Park another … (31 comments)

brea homes: Today the Tables Were Turned ~ Rebate or not to rebate? - 09/09/07 06:15 PM
A few days ago I wrote a post on what I expected of rebate agents representing buyers during the transaction, Rebate Agents Please Take Note.  It was not my intentioned, yet it did turn into a rant of sorts. Bottom line, I wanted them to do their portion of the transaction, plain and simple. They do their side actually representing the buyer, meaning more than just writing the contract. In that post, I also identified what they could expect of me as the seller's agent.
Well today the tables were turned with a phone call this a.m. I received a voice mail … (62 comments)
