judytuscano: An Afternoon in Seacoast New Hampshire
- 11/29/07 01:49 PM
We took a little trip today with our fellow Realtor, AR members and good friends Monika & Jay McGillicuddy. It started as a way to support some fellow Prudential Verani Realty agents who were holding a Broker Open House at a new project in North Hampton, NH. They had asked for our support and promised us ballroom dancing lessons and lunch. Not a bad way to spend a couple hours we thought so we climbed into Jay's GOLF (his license plate) car and drove on over. We had a bite to eat, watched the dance lessons then checked out the project, left a card (hope one of (19 comments)

judytuscano: Have you ever been to jail???
- 11/20/07 12:54 PM
I'll preface this post by saying that I didn't commit a crime or anything like that. I chose to go to jail tonight with a few of my closest friends. We sing in an ensemble called "Vox Jubilante" and we do things differently from your average singing group. We like to go where others don't even think about going. We went to the VA Hospital in Manchester, NH last month to welcome home some of the soldiers from Iraq. Check out my blog from that visit. But this was different......we went to jail. Why you ask? Well remember Jesus said "I was in (16 comments)

judytuscano: Volunteer or ................?
- 11/02/07 07:30 AM
OK, so what do I know about volunteering? Well, I do know that volunteering is not a mandatory thing, it is a giving of one self in service to a cause greater than oneself. We all volunteer in one way or another. Well, I got the opportunity to volunteer on a project to build a home for a family that was up against it recently. I didn't work on building the house, I helped the actual builder in his office so his staff would be free to do what they do best. Extreme Makeover, Home Edition, came to New Hampshire and a lot of (26 comments)
judytuscano: Halloween at Windy Brook Farm in Brentwood, NH 03833
- 10/30/07 02:38 PM
OK, so New Hampshire has this strange tradition of each town determining a date and time to celebrate halloween. They have decided throughout the years to stagger the celebration from town to town. I'm not exactly sure for their reasoning but that is the way it is and if kids play their cards right they could capitalize on this decision by getting their parents to take them to a different town each night for several days to "trick or treat". Imagine the candy haul! Weeks and even months worth of sweet treats. Wow! Well there is a neighborhood in Brentwood, NH called (3 comments)

It is just off Route 101 at exit 8 toward Route 27 and there is plenty of parking so put the kids in the car for an adventure they won't soon forget. I'm not about the ghoul but my 10 year old grandson thinks this place is sick. His little sister went last year and refuses to (6 comments)
