There is no reason to re invent the wheel. Katerina is absolutely right. Don't stop paying your HOA dues, no matter what if you want to proceed with a short sale. Someone will have to pay the past due fees, penalties, interest, etc and it won't be the buyer or the bank.Not paying your HOA Fees
