The coverage by the media of the presidential campaign has been nothing short of despicable. They are in a tizzy over Sarah Palin's setting a trend with her eye glasses.  (I frankly have to admit that I like them.) They have replayed the jokes by a late night comedian making fun of Trig, Sarah Pa...

I had a very pleasant experience at a closing in Poteau last week. The buyers were from Minnesota and after four months of looking, we found the perfect house on 15 acres in Wister, Oklahoma.  There's a view of a mountain off every porch in all four directions.  It's an awesome property.  The hou...

I grew up in the Town of Southeast in Putnam County.  It was called Southeast because it was the southeast township in the Philips Patent in New York State.  We lived about two miles from the little village of Brewster, which was on the other side of Marvin's Mountain from our house.  When we wal...

The folks at Retaggr read my previous blog and responded immediately to my complaint.   They have repaired the coding problem to my satisfaction.  I have now inserted the new code back into my website.  The interactive maps are working again alongside the tagging. The interface between the rights of surface owners and mineral owners is very interesting and will become more of a problem in oil-producing states as we push to "drill here now" in an attempt to reduce our dependence on foreign oil. I attended a meeting of the Sand Springs (Oklahoma) City Counci...

I am in the GRI class taught by Randy Templeton. He just taught us about maps.live.com. It gives you access to the same aerial photos that we see on Realist. Check it out. -- Debbie   http://TulsaRealEstateWeb.com http://NortheastOklahomaRealEstate.com http://BixbyOklahomaRealEstate.com http://ds...

Many of you who know me have not seen me for the past year.  I have been coding my life away ever since I took Randy Eagar's CRS class. I came home and said, "I am doing everything wrong." So I sat down and started writing content.  Then I pulled out the HTML books.  Then I pulled out the CSS boo...
