I AM DOING A NEW THING
"Behold, I will do a new thing,       Now it shall spring forth;       Shall you not know it?       I will even make a road in the wilderness       And rivers in the desert.        20 The beast of the field will honor Me,       The jackals and … (7 comments)

lititz pa: Real Estate and God. What's LOVE got to do with it?? - 01/13/09 01:58 AM
The Bibles tells us in Jeremiah 29:11,"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." NKJV  Our clients all have plans when it comes to their real estate goals.  Some are experiencing foreclosure, divorce, death of a spouse or illness and must sell their homes.  Compound this with the current market and it truly is an arena for the Lord to show Himself as our strong and mighty tower.  But what about God's plans?  I work largely with clients who are experiencing life challenges.  Compound … (4 comments)

lititz pa: A Prayerful Quest For God - 12/23/08 03:20 AM
The life of the Cross carries with it "an obedience unto the death of the self-life" -- that is; reaching the place of total dependency on God in all things.  It is not feasible, possible or desirable to 'depend upon our own understanding' rather to be filled with the continual presence of the Holy Spirit to do the will of God. In John 4:34, "Jesus said to them, My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish this work." (NKJV) Jesus lived to do God's will.  He is the only pathway to our spiritual satisfaction.  When … (4 comments)

lititz pa: TERMINALLY ILL 4 YR OLD's CHRISTMAS WISH. - 12/18/08 10:07 AM
Tonight as I tuned in to my local television station, I heard the story of 4 yr old Hannah Garman who lives in my town.  She was diagnosed in late October with terminal cancer.  Her mother also died of cancer two years ago so I can only imagine the deep grief and heart wrenching pain this family is experiencing at this time.  When asked, this child's only Christmas wish is for Christmas cards, period.  As I read her online journal (found here) I sat at my computer shaking my head in disbelief repeatedly asking God to heal this child.  My thoughts … (12 comments)

lititz pa: More Time To Love! - 11/05/08 06:25 AM
It comes as no surprise to anyone aware of the current housing crisis that sellers aren't selling and buyers are taking their time trying to find the best deals.  Maybe it's just me, but I have more time on my hands than ever before.  Today as I thought of other ways to earn money I was reminded by The Holy Spirit that God always has and always will provide for my need.  Not that He expects me to sit around waiting for some angelic lottery to be deposited into my bank account but surely He prefers that I utilize this slow … (18 comments)

lititz pa: Five Words That Will Transform Your Neighborhood - 07/17/08 01:50 PM
Love
 - Love for one another isn't simply a choice we make, it's a command.  John 13:34 states, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another" NKJV  Love is a verb, it is selflessness in action.  Our motivation should be simple - love one another because Jesus loved us.
Look at one another through the eyes of God.
Open your heart to receive others - the good, the bad and the ugly; just as Jesus did.
Validate the good qualities within every person you meet.
Extend … (18 comments)

lititz pa: What's In Your Love Tank? - 07/15/08 04:16 PM
Today during a walk around my neighborhhod with a friend, we talked about how our personal lives get so busy.  Whether in business or ministry or both, our lives continually feed into the lives of others.  If we aren't careful we can overextend oursleves, even to the point of burnout.
As Believers we are called to walk in God's love.  Let me put it another way.  Love requires selfless giving.  It demands of ourselves, the ability to nurture and nourish the lives of others.  Jesus always walked in love by giving of Himself to people without regard as to whether or not His … (22 comments)

lititz pa: Marketing Mania - Who are you trying to represent anyway? - 07/14/08 02:06 PM
Who are you trying to represent anyway?
Men and woman alike whether they admit it or not are marketing themselves every day.  We tend to overlook the fact that in this world marketing plays a huge part in how others perceive our success or worse, a lack of it.  Why is it that we think that products we read about in fliers or hear on the radio are the only things marketed to us?  The truth is that we are our own marketing tool every day in how we dress, speak and what we share with others.  Whether we like it or … (12 comments)

lititz pa: EXTREME LOVE. - 07/09/08 04:33 AM
I get a kick out of the extreme TV programs being aired for example, Extreme Makeover, Deadliest Catch, Man Vs Wild or even Dirty Jobs.  Even though I have a heavy crush on Mike Rowe, why in the world do I need to know about the art of finding slimy eels, how to examine a dirty diaper for bad smells or even WHY I would want to or fishing for crawfish in a swamp?  Extreme?  Indeed.  These shows feed the curious mind, tap into the adventurous side of ones personality and invoke a sense of what we are truly missing as inhabitants of our wonderful earth!.

lititz pa: Feel The Power! - 06/28/08 01:09 PM
Living in Lancaster County, PA. gives me opportunity to see and witness the Amish people and their lifestyle.  Oftentimes I pass by large open farmland and watch in amazement how farming is done by horse drawn equipment and metal wheels.  Many times the power of these huge beasts is placed in the hands of a child, sometimes as young as 12 or 13.  Watching such a task amazes me.  These horses esteem power and strength well beyond the ability of the young child to control.  With a sure grip on the reins he guides the beasts and accomplishes the task at … (10 comments)

lititz pa: Living in His spotlight. - 06/20/08 12:27 PM

Every time of think of Hollywood I consider the many people living in the spotlight of others.  For every Hollywood star there are many who keep the ball rolling in their lives. Let's take a look at their possible entourage.  There are spouses or a ‘significant other', an agent, personal assistant, hairdresser, wardrobe designer, nail tech of course, masseuse and perhaps even a cook...to name just a few.
These people all live in the spotlight of the one who takes or demands the attention.  They work to support his or her efforts on the big screen.  And that is how … (8 comments)

lititz pa: RELATIONSHIPS 101. - 06/19/08 12:49 PM
  - All of our relationships must be given over to Christ in order that we have no dependency upon anyone or anything that is apart from Him.  To maintain or retain any dependency upon those things we will eventually be led out of God's will.  By staying in God's Word, growing spiritually and being used continually to a greater degree by God, "strange" things begin to happen.
Much to my dismay, people began to be off cut from my life by God.  My prayer to the Father was and still is, "Lord, if this relationship does not glorify You and if … (20 comments)

lititz pa: got milk? - 06/10/08 01:36 PM
 - got milk?  Yes, that's a need for many of us; babies, children and adults alike.  But what if you ran out of milk on a Saturday morning as you finished baking chocolate chip cookies?  Well, you either do without the milk and get it later or rush off to the nearest grocery store and get it now.  Right?

God supplies our need.
The Lord promises in His Word to "supply all of our need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)  It is a done deal, already established in heaven only to be manifest in one's life.  The direct manifestation … (16 comments)

lititz pa: Addicted to Love. - 06/06/08 11:14 PM

Each night as I prepare for sleep and crawl in to the warmth and softness of my bed the anticipation of my night of romance begins.  Slowly and methodically, particularly and intentionally, I prepare myself for the King.
Like Ester, my bath water may contain the oil of myrrh, frankincense, lilies or roses.  (My thoughts return to a special moment during a time of intense worship that the oil of spikenard was revealed to me -- the scent remained for a season).  As most women do we have a nighttime routine of perhaps moisturizing every dry soft on our skin or delight … (19 comments)

lititz pa: Not used goods but good for HIS use. - 05/25/08 11:29 PM
A word of encouragement to every person -- man and woman, who has been married before or perhaps divorced multiple times, YOU ARE NOT USED GOODS.  If you are reading this post and have experienced the pain of divorce and feeling that God cannot or will not use you, please close your ears to the devil's lie.  God is the healer of our hearts and delights in bringing His children to complete restoration in Him.  Those that the world considers to be failures, God uses for His good.
As in real estate, you continually appreciate in value to Him.  When the world inspects … (14 comments)
