Midvale Utah Real Estate was one of a small number of cities to actually see numbers increase when looking at sold price and quantity sold.  Midvale houses sold went up 14% or 4 homes.  Sold price increased $15,600 on median, and close to $22,000 on average.

Cottonwood Heights Utah real estate was down more than 36% from last year, meaning about 20 less houses sold.  Average price of homes in Cottonwood Heights decreased from $352,843 to $318,841, yet median price went up $5,100.

Provo Real Estate followed a similar trend that several other Utah County cities experienced.  Sold homes went up a decent amount and median and average sold price of Provo UT homes decreased.

Orem Utah Real Estate saw a big increase, up 35.3%.  Median price of homes in Orem decreased from $208,500 to the $197,000 and average price slipped 11.88%.

While prices of Real Estate in American Fork UT declined 7-8%, the quantity of houses sold stayed the same.  Current prices of American Fork homes are similar to sold prices from the 1st quarter.

Sold homes in Ogden went from 149 to 179.  A $7,000 decrease of median price and a $2,500 decrease in average price could very well have influenced the 20% increase of Ogden houses sold.

Real Estate in North Salt Lake UT took the biggest percentage drop in sold houses.  North Salt Lake houses also experienced the largest jump in median sold price.  These reactions appear to agree with the idea that a price increase leads to a sales decrease.  Inventory is quite high at 15 months.

Layton Real Estate: The city of Layton almost saw increases across the board as homes sold went up 11.8% and average price increased 2.8%.  Median range, on the other hand, slipped as sold price of homes in Layton decreased 1.2%.

Real Estate in Clearfield experienced the largest increase of houses sold when looking at percentage, yet price slightly fell.  Median sold price of Clearfield homes slipped a few percent but it was quite small when looking at what other cities experienced.
