I have the joy of listing and selling real estate in Lake Lure in the beautiful North Carolina Mountains.  Lake Lure was voted one of the most beautiful man-made lakes in the world by National Geographic.  Many movies were filmed here; Dirty Dancing, Last of the Mohicans, and Firestarter are just a few.  The crystal clear, cool waters of the lake with the incredible bald mountains all around, is the reason why people return here, year after year.  Chimney Rock Park has miles of hiking trails and boasts one of the most incredible views of the lake and mountains from the top.  We have rivers, streams, horseback riding, gem mining, restaurants, spas, Championship Golf Courses, and the list goes on and on.  The best part about Lake Lure, no traffic lights...just a quaint, small town with so much beauty.
