I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2001 with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Information Technology and was recruited right out of school to consult for American Management Systems. For the next three years I worked on financial systems for an array of federal government clients. After leading a team to implement an eTravel Tracking System I was recruited by Booz Allen Hamilton.
In the spring of 2004 I went to work for the firm Booz Allen as a senior consultant and worked on the Department of Justice's massive financial and eTravel system upgrades. I was the team leader in the technology and security aspects of the project. After winning an award for Excellence in Team Participation I decided that my true desire was to help people with their finances and especially in regards to home purchasing and investing.
In the spring of 2005 I was recruited by First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation. After about six months of training I was set loose to work on two condo conversion projects based out of Charlottesville and Alexandria which has proved to keep me very busy. On top of that I do home financing for Northern Virginia based clients as well as clients nationwide. I am currently licensed in North Carolina and working on licensing in other states that require a license.
