Homes are extrodinary things. They become more than a structure we dwell within. When I walk into a home, I often wonder what stories I could hear if walls could talk. My grandfather built homes, and my parents owned rental property. I grew up learning the very bones of a home, from plumbing to wiring, to shingles on the roof. Yes, I was a tomboy! I orignially started Savvy Homes, to manage property I owned, rented or flipped. I love to move furniture around my home every couple of months, and I've always swapped my accessories and art around to different rooms. I eventually got my real estate license and became a realtor. However, I quickly realized I wanted to do more. With today's market, being an Agent requires much more than it did a few years ago. I wanted to offer more services to my clients, and to customers who did not wish to use a realtor when they marketed their home. What better way for me to offer more, than to expand on things I grew up doing. I added home staging and redesign to my business. I love it.. It is a great feeling to see the looks on clients faces when they see what can be accomplished with just a little direction, focus and play on their homes great focal points. After researching, I found out there is no requirements for certifications in this field. However, I felt the need to obtain more education and some certifications as well. This helps my clients understand my drive and desire to do what is in their best interest.
