I am relatively new to the real estate industry, and come to it from a breadth of other experiences. I have been a broadcast reporter, freelance writer and care provider for the developmentally disabled. I chose to go into real estate because it was a chance to go look at houses all the time! :) Actually, one of the biggest draws was the flexibility. I have a small child, and I don't want to ever miss one of his events because I couldn't get off work. I also do a large portion of my work at home, so it allows me to spend as much time with him as possible while he's still little.
I am a Wisconsin native, but have lived in several other states. As somebody who has moved around a great deal, I am very familiar with the frustrations of moving and becoming acquainted with a new area. From area guides to moving tips, I would be glad to provide you with some tools to help ease the transition!
What makes me different? I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty. When my client wanted to see the interior of a house, but the key had been dropped through the deck my a previous agent, I crawled under the deck and sifted around the dead leaves. I came out covered in leaves and with a few spider webs... but I found the key and was able to e-mail her the photos. Not a big deal, but apparently something nobody had previously bothered to do.
