MSN.com and Bankrate.com just released an article on "State-by-state closing costs". First time home buyers are sometimes overwhelmed when hit with closing costs. You will be happy to know that Missouri was ranked 54 and Kansas was ranked 55 out of 56 states/large cities in 2008 for having low closing costs.
