I love to work with first time buyers.  Finding the right finance for them is so important.  I do not let them go to the mortgage brokers that will eat them alive.  I have mortgage companies and banks in our area that I trust and I work with all the time.  

The people looking for a second home are fun.  I get to show off our wonderful lakes.  I know Lake Manitou.  As a child my brothers and I spent a lot of time out there.  I like telling people about Lake Manitou.  Also, Nyona & Bruce Lake are great fishing places.

Then of course the families that need a bigger home.  They are lots of fun.  The kids buy the house....not mom and dad.

I do handle what we call REO properties (foreclosures).  I work with a lot of investors. 

The most important part of my job is to make sure people know they need to have a pre-approval from a lender.  That makes finding the right house so much easier.  If they fall in love with the $100,000 home, but the lender says only $80,000, the buyer is sad.  So I want buyers to know what they can afford before they start to  look.  Just makes good sense, but doesn't always happen.
