3. Lake Ray Roberts: This lake is one of the best spots for bass fishing in North Texas. It is not big enough to attract the big speed boats that you will find on Lake Lewisville. It is just the right size for family recreation and fishing. There are several bass tournaments on Lake Ray Roberts every year. Core of Engineers has protected the lake from being over developed. 4. Sanger ISD Sports: Dallas has the Cowboy, in Sanger we have got our Indians. Friday Night Lights are a big deal in our town. You can actually start your Friday with Lunch at Miguelito's, walk the perimiter of Lake Ray Roberts and fish until game time, watch our Indians win a game, and celebrate with dinner at Babe's.
