In the confusing world of real estate professionals it is often very difficult to know who you can trust. I have come to learn that most people who have a bad experience with a real estate agent do so for a couple of very common reasons:
1. I couldn't get a hold of my agent.
2. My agent stuck a sign in my yard and I didn't hear from him/her again until it was time to renew the listing.
3. I didn't know if I could trust my agent.
I work a little differently than most agents out there. I am easy to get a hold of. I answer my own cell phone and I do so even outside of "normal business hours". I don't work in a "normal" profession so "normal" hours simply don't apply. When I am working for you, I get calls about your home after 5pm from people after work who are doing their looking for a home at that time. I communicate on a regular basis with my clients, either through phone or email or a combination of both.
And lastly, the trust issue is important to me. No one can tell you who to trust, but when you put me to work for you, either selling or buying a home, I work for YOU. Our business relationship is a legally binding one and I am required to watch out for YOUR best interests...even at the expense of my own. And that's how it should be.
