Rita's business is mainly referral based.  It includes many repeat clients who have worked with Rita to buy and sell several homes, and who recommend her to their families and friends. In fact, last year 80% of Rita's business was with people referred by her previous clients.

Rita has earned awards for being one of the top Realtors in San Mateo County. She achieved that status by a blend of marketing skill, advanced technology for marketing and research, comprehensive knowledge of neighborhood conditions, and a strong personal commitment to her clients.

 A graduate of Queens College in Glasgow, Scotland, Rita has moved her own family from Scotland, to England, Singapore, Nigeria, and Tunisia, as well as Abilene, Texas; Boston, Massachusetts; and Toronto, Canada, before settling in Burlingame, California. With her experience, she understands how to help her clients change homes.

After raising her three sons in the community she has called home for more than 12 years, and helping many local residents buy and sell their homes, Rita understands local schools and the ins and outs of Peninsula towns and neighborhoods. She has been involved in the Hillsborough Auxiliary to Community Gatepath and other community organizations.

            For her well-known expertise in Peninsula real estate, Rita earned membership in the Council of Residential Specialists, an organization of the top 4% of Realtors nationally. The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) is the highest designation awarded to experts in the residential sales field.

            CRS certification is earned only by Realtors who meet stringent requirements for:

• achieving in-depth real-world experience,
• following a strict code of ethics,
• completing advanced education on financing and marketing homes.
