After a nearly 24 year career as a Telecommunications Engineer providing Customer Technical Support. Rich Mielke and his family relocated from Chicago to Frederick Md. Rich brings analytical thinking along with his people skills and sense of humor to help both buyers and sellers navigate the process. Having bought and sold several times along with relocating, Rich knows what clients are going through.

Early retirement afforded Rich and his family the opportunity to relocate to Maryland. During the selling process of his home, his growing dissatisfaction with his listing agent and some of the buyer agents he dealt with, led him to pursue a career in Real Estate. Once settled in Maryland, Rich finished his pre-licensing classes and a new career had begun. Noticing a pattern of Maryland clients selling and moving to Pennsylvania, Rich became licensed there to further serve those clients.

Rich is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Maryland Association of Realtors, the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors, Frederick County Association of Realtors and the Realtors Association of York and Adams County. He is a MLS member of MRIS, RAYAC and Central Penn MLS.

Rich has worked with first time buyers as well as move up buyers. He enjoys the challenge of marketing unique properties. Rich is an active member of the Frederick County Association of REALTORS and volunteers with the Community Service and Education Committees.

He is a Certified Residential Specialist, an Accredited Buyers Agent, E-Pro Certified, He holds the At Home With Diversity, NAR One America designation and Maryland Workforce Housing Certification. Rich is a Mentor, currently working with two real estate professionals in Frederick.
