I come from a family of successful realtors.  My grandfather owned a real estate firm in Florida, and my mother has a successful brokerage in Fayetteville.  I remember helping her market homes by creating and distributing flyers, organizing and advertising open houses, and putting together moving packets for her clients from an early age.  I learned the ins and outs of the business as she did, I know the amount of hard work that happens behind the scenes in every real estate transaction, and I am very proud of her success.

I grew up in an Army family, moving 9 times in 16 years.  My father served 22 years in the Army.  I know firsthand how stressful moving can be on a family, even in the best of circumstances!  Having moved so many times as a child, and several times since starting my own family, I understand exactly what it takes to make a smooth transition to your new home.

1998:  After receiving my degree, I entered the insurance industry, working first for an agent, then in claims and finally in underwriting, with a primary focus on Property and Casualty Insurance.

2001:  I stayed home with my daughter for a year, and then I chose to re-enter the workforce teaching 7^th grade math to at-risk students.  I developed a passion for education that is still near to my heart.

2005:  In 2005, my husband David and I decided to pursue real estate investing with the purchase of our first rental property.  With my family background in real estate, and my own personal knowledge of the market, it was a natural progression to obtain my real estate license and begin my career full time with Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston.

present:  I have enjoyed helping families relocate to the Triangle area from all over the globe.  I love the opportunity to introduce people to this beautiful place that we call home.  I have also done on-site work at multiple new home communities, so I offer my buyers a unique perspective when considering new construction.  Whether you are moving here from half-way around the world, or just moving across town, it is my pleasure to help you and your family have a smooth transition.
