A son of Mom & Pop entreprenuers and the oldest of 6 children, I learned the importance of customer service at an early age as I grew up in both the restaurant and grocery business. Shortly after high school, I joined the Navy ranks and proudly served with the Naval Weather Service. I obtained my college education while in the Navy and majored in business. After leaving the service, I went to work with the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration, National Weather Service. After a combined 25 years working in the field of meteorology and oceanography, I opted for change and went to work for myself, and for several years, worked in and around the construction and home remodeling industry. I then completed the course work requirements with the Mississippi Real Estate Institute, and early in 2001, began my career in real estate. While working with a major real estate firm in Tupelo, I completed a course of instruction with the Residential Financing Council and received my designation as a Residential Finance Specialist (RFS) and went on to became a top producer for that company. After a couple of years, I obtained my Broker's license and in July of 2003, purchased and opened a national real estate franchise. Since opening in Tupelo in 2003, I have directly assisted in and influenced the expansion of other national franchises in North Mississippi, North Alabama, and North Louisania. In 2004 I completed all the requirements for graduation from the Mississippi Realtor Institute and earned the designation GRI. I finished among the top 5 Realtors in all of NE Mississippi in 2005 with personal production of over 8 million in residential sales. My years of experience in the home construction industry has provided me the knowledge to better assist my buyers and sellers with the issues of construction, value, maintenance, and home ownership. I have also completed the Accredited Buyer Representative course and have been awarded the ABR designation. I have trained many agents in real estate sales and of those, most have gone on to become top producers in their markets. My hobbies include raquetball, bowling, golf, reading, watching the Cubs, and working around the yard.
